Bollywood youth icon and stylish actress Amrita Rao was captured in a festive mood on Star Plus’s Perfect Bride.

The housemates had an immediate connection with the young actress who played Poonam in the film Vivaah after seeing her in this traditional outfit. Amrita then performed a Durga puja with the other lovely ladies in the house before proceeding to dance a Gujju-style dandiya raas. She was then seen spending some time with the mothers and the boys who seemed smitten by the charming actress. One of the Gujarati mothers was so taken with Amrita, that she gifted her an ancestral piece of jewellery she was wearing.
Amrita said, “Perfect Bride is more than a reality show. It is a wholesome experience where I am unravelling a whole new me. I initially started off as just a mentor who guided the young ladies, and today I have become a friend, daughter and sister in the house.”
